I just finally watched Eyewitness for the first time and I am not ok. I loved that so, so much. The characters were all phenomenal, and I absolutely loved the two main boys.

It was so beautiful and happy and cute and painful. I don’t think I have the words for how much I loved it. I’m going to rewatch it so many times.

Philip and Lukas had me giggling and kicking my feet like an idiot so many times. I’m obsessed. I’m never moving on.

Anyway people of tumblr I got a cat and her name is maple and she is awful and I love her

She loves to sleep outside my bedroom door, then wake up to my alarm , then sit and meow until I let her in, and she likes to just generally lurk in my doorway when I have the door open. She also tries to get me any time I’m in the bathroom. She hides under my roommates beds. She likes to take up a whole entire cushion of our couch. She eats most but not all of her wet food and gets annoyed with me because of it. I love her

you know what guys. after this whole thing goes down, i hope we get the ACTUAL kamiyama school festival and it is a very good comparison to the first one. where we can see clearly how much mizuki has grown since that first event in january 2021, since that first school festival in middle school.

and i hope mizuki gets to have fun with her friends and can hang out with ena. and i hope ena has fun too. i hope she gets to tease akito, forge bonds with her classmates at the fried squid stall, and hopefully get roped into a dumb show with the oddballs 1 2. i hope this is ena’s pandemonium. i hope we all can have a little bit of joy and whimsy while getting to see how much the gang’s lives have changed at this point.

and i hope rui is a little worried for mizuki — i sincerely hope he is somewhere in mizu5, quietly waiting by the rooftop like he always has for her. but by the end of the schoolfes event he can look at mizuki, her whole face bright as all eight students in our little kamikou main cast gang come down from the rooftop (for one last time maybe, but we don’t talk about graduation in front of rui… unless ofc we bring it up this event) and he can say “you’ve come such a long way, haven’t you, mizuki? i’m happy for you.”

I just finished IWTV season 2 and oh my god??? Oh??? My god???

Armand…. Ok listen LISTENNNNN I know he’s evil but he’s so fucking radiant??? Like I was just so physically wide eyed and drooling every time he was on screen. When everything started piecing together in the last few episodes and I was still so ENRAPTURED with him, my best friend said to me, “Sirens would work on you. You would swim to your death” OK MAYBE???

okay im not gonna get on here and actually voice all the petty things i said during the game about mcdavid because a lot of them were rude and unnecessary, because i want the canucks to win. what i am gonna say is mcdavid deserves every day of the suspension that he gets. so does tymy. i think mcdavid deserves at least two more games than whatever tyler gets because he instigated a fight because he was mad that he had been kinda shut down all game. say what you want about mcdavid, but it’s about damn time he got some consequences for his actions. yes the league needs to protect him because he’s fucking incredible. but that doesn’t mean he gets to throw hissy fits every time something doesn’t go his way!

I started watching the dead boy detectives tonight. Had only heard about it from a single Youtube comment that praised it a couple of weeks ago and thought not much of it until I saw the show on Netflix.

Absolutely loved it. Four episodes in it hit me that this is a Netflix show so I immediately checked if it got renewed. My panic was unfortunately justified.

Now I still want to continue watching the show because again, I loved it, but my question is, will the letdown be bigger if I watch it all the way through? Is there a big cliffhanger or new plot point near the end that will never get resolved, and if yes, is there a better point to stop watching?

People talk about David Lynch’s significant impact on tv/film, but I don’t think most people realize that an entire genre of horror games would not exist as they do without his influence and the popularity of Twin Peaks

Silent Hill, Resident Evil, every game Remedy has ever made (Alan Wake, Control, etc.), Deadly Premonition, Disco Elysium (not a traditional horror game, but it’s got the vibes), hell, even Life is Strange (which is a horror game to me #fuckeverybodyelsesavechloe) have undeniable influences from Twin Peaks

He was a creator’s creator; absolutely brilliant and brimming with so much unique perspective and talent that he could not help but influence people who witnessed him
